Quick Access
Day 1: Chief and His Cat. Finding the Ring
After talking to Aunt Hina, open your notepad to check the day’s task. Look at the “Auntie’s Advice” page to find objects.

1. There are two storage shelves. Move to the first storage shelf next to the industrial freezer and read the sticky note on the shelf. Aunt Hina wants you to bring out more Soda.

2. Take all the Tokyo Pop Soda from the shelf. Put them in the soft drink refrigerator in the store.
3. In the storage room, take the Ramen Express (Savory Curry) and Ramen Express Luxe (Hot and Spicy) from the upper shelves. Take the Shirakdo Noodles from the bottom section.

4. Place the Shirako Noodles, Ramen Express, and Ramen Express Luxe in the Noodles display. You may not have enough space for all of them, so place a few items of each noodle variant on the shelf. Put the remaining back in the storage shelves.

5. In the Beverage Refrigerator, move to the bottom section and take all Kanji Toast Bread. They don’t belong there. Put them in the Baked Goods display.

6. In the Pet Food display, move to the second row and fix the Cat Food Special with Chicken, as it wasn’t facing forward. In the same row, fix the Canine Bites Can so it faces forward.

7. From both the storage shelves, take the Island Country and Hoshikawa Lager. Put them in the beverage refrigerator.
8. In the Ready Meals refrigerator, fix the Tohoku Sandwich so it faces forward.
9. Open the industrial freezer in the storage room and take a few Gyoza Dumplings and Wano Onigiri. Put the Wano Onigiri in the Ready Meals display. Put the dumplings in the store freezer.
10. In the Sweets and Snacks display, fix the position of one of the Pokky Walkie Biscuit sticks and Pokky Walkie Strawberry.

11. In the storage room, check the Information Stand and read Hina’s sticky note. She mentions that she lost her golden ring somewhere in the store. Your notepad will be updated with this new information.

12. Check the sink to find the gold ring.

Pick it up to unlock Inkonbini’s first Lost Ring Achievement.

12. Flip the sign on the front door to open the store. Move closer to the customer to speak to them and select the dialogue options to progress. The first customer is “Chief”, a senior citizen.
13. When the Chief asks for help, approach and talk to him. He wants a premium treat for his cat Mimi. A hypoallergenic cat food that should have a green pea formula.
– Check the Pet food display. Inspect the Cat Food Special with Chicken and take it. This is the only food that has the hypoallergenic chicken and green pea formula. Talk to the Chief again and offer the product from the box. Press E (Keyboard) or A (Controller) to give it to Chief.

14. Move to the checkout area and open the cash register. Scan all the items. You must rotate a product so the barcode faces up before scanning it. After scanning, open the cash register and pick the correct combination of notes and coins until the remaining change amount shown on the display reaches 0.

– Continue speaking with the customer to progress. You can select any dialogue options that appear during the conversation. While talking to him, I chose the “Cheer up, Chief” option.

Day 2: Mystery Man Visits the Store
1. In the storage room, check the information stand to find new sticky notes left by the day shift workers. In the first sticky note, the workers ordered way too much ice cream and stashed it in every freezer. Put the ice cream in the right place.

– From the beverage refrigerator, take all Joy Boy Mini Ice Creams. They seem to have melted a little. Put the Joy Boy Minis in the Ice Cream Display. The Ice Cream Display isn’t the right place for the Onigiri.

Take the Onigiri and put the remaining Joy Boy Minis in that section. Put the remaining ice creams in the Industrial Freezer.
– Put the Onigiri in the Ready Meals Display.

2. From the storage shelf, take the Yojoki Iced Mugicha and Vigorman X from the top row, Harajuku Soda from both the upper and lower rows, Revos Water, Calba Water from the upper rows, and Tokyo Pop Soda along with Bell’s Watermelon Fruita from the lower rows.
– In the soft drink refrigerator, put the Tokyo Pop Soda, Bell’s Watermelon Fruita, Revos Water, and Calba Water. You can put the soda and Watermelon Fruita on the top rows and the water on the lower rows.
– In the beverage refrigerator, put the Yojoki Iced Mugicha in the lowest row. Put the Vigorman X beside the Iced Mugicha.
– Put the remaining canned drinks in the storage room’s Industrial Refrigerator if there’s not enough space in the store refrigerator.
3. In the storage room, open the second Industrial Freezer and take the Dental Deluxe Kits.

– From the next storage shelf, take the Zen Leaf Matcha, French Croissant, Uruchimai Rice, and all the Manga magazines.
– Put the French Croissant in the Baked Goods Display and Uruchimai Rice in the Cooking Essentials shelf.
– Put the magazines in the Magazine Rack. Not all magazines will fit in the rack, so you may have to come back to the storage room and put them back on the shelf. I could manage to put only Teyou Masuta in the magazine rack.
– Put the Deluxe Dental Kits in the Household Goods Display.

– In the Tea and Coffee Display, take the Calba Concentrate from the first row. It doesn’t seem to belong there. Put the Zen Leaf Matcha in the same place. Open the industrial refrigerator and put the Calba Concentrate inside.
– Put the remaining products back on the storage shelves if there’s no space to put them in the store.
4. The Uruchimai Rice has been placed incorrectly in the lower rows of the Canned Goods Shelf. Take the bags and move them to the Cooking Essentials Shelf.

5. In the Dairy Products shelf, move down to the lowest row and fix the Dairy Delight Milk cartons to make them face forward.

6. Interact with the Special Offers Display in the store and read the sticky note on it. As per the note, the Zen Leaf Matcha and Harajuku Soda need to be placed on the Special Offers Display. After that, Makoto needs to convince customers at checkout to buy them.

– Pick the Zen Leaf Matcha from the storage shelf and the Tea & Coffee Display.

Find the Harajuku Soda. It will be in the storage room shelf, but while playing, I had to put the extra sodas in the Industrial Refrigerator. Take all Harajuku Soda. Put both products in the Special Offers Display.
A tall man in glasses is waiting near the front door. Flip the sign to open the store and let him inside. Talk to him, but he won’t reply. He starts shopping for the product.

– When he wants something, the mystery man clears his throat and quietly says, “Hmm?” He seems to be signaling that he wants something. Walk up to him and talk to him. Since he barely speaks, Makoto has to do most of the talking. Multiple dialogue options will appear on the screen. Choose the following dialogues:

A. Ready meal?
– He nods approvingly.
B. Looking for something inexpensive?
– Shakes head negatively (He wants something high-priced)
C. Meat or Fish (Makato asks – Does it contain any seafood?)
– Nods approvingly
Open the Industrial Refrigerator in the storage room and take the Premium Sushi Set.

Offer it to the customer. He is super happy to receive the product he wanted.

Walk up to the checkout area. When the mystery man approaches the checkout area, look/check his shopping basket. Choose “Recommend products on sale.” Makoto asks the customer to look at the special offers display, as some products are on sale. Offer him Zen Leaf Matcha or Harajuku Soda. After offering one of the products, choose additional promotional dialogue choices such as “Are you interested in…” or “You can’t miss this special offer…” to convince the customer.
If he does not want the product, offer the second product, and this time choose “special discount if you get two or more.”
The mystery man may not purchase the recommended products. You will have to persuade him to buy one of the. I managed to convince him to buy the Matcha Tea by choosing these dialogue options:
1. Offer Zen Leaf Matcha > 2. Have You Tried Zen Leaf Matcha > Choose 1 again if he does not want.> 3. You can’t miss this Special Offer. Makoto adds this product to the basket. It may have felt a little pushy, but in the end, I successfully sold one of the items featured in the special offers display.

Continue by scanning the remaining products and completing the checkout process. Take the payment and give him the change.

2. In the second sticky note, Misaki informs you that Aunt Hina wants to hear your experience on your first shift. You will have to call Hina to complete the task.

– Interact with the phone. Then, using the WASD keys or the Dpad, move up to the speed dial section. Select Hina Hayakawa and push the call button beside her name. Talk to Aunt Hina and choose the dialogue to progress.

When she asks if there’s anything Makoto wants to talk to her about, choose “Ask about the ring” from the dialogue options. Next, choose “Is this ring important to you?” You can also ask a few more questions, such as “Ask about the Chief” and “Tell her about the Strange Man”. When Hina asks whether the Chief visited the store at night, choose “He visits the store.”
Aunt Hina warns Makoto not to sell milk to Chief and to provide the best cat food. The poor cat won’t be able to digest milk.
3. Interact with the delivery box kept near the fire extinguisher in the storage room. Read the sticky note titled “Soy Sauce for Mr. Takahashi” on the box. As per the note, 12 bottles of Kikko-Nyan Soy Sauce (Garlic Flavored ) need to be set aside in this box.

– Head to the Cooking Essentials Shelf in the store and collect 9 bottles of Kikko-Nyan Soy Sauce from the second row. Put them in the delivery box in the storage room.

– You will find more soy sauce bottles in the basket placed on the floor near the Cooking Essentials Shelf. But they contain a mix of the usual sauce and garlic-flavored sauce.

Pick up the basket and place all the soy sauce bottles on the Cooking Essentials Shelf first. Then, take only 3 garlic-flavored bottles back from the shelf. Return to the storage room and place the same three bottles in the delivery box to complete Mr. Takahashi’s order.
– Look at the Fridge Memo to know the storage conditions. You can store perishable and dairy products, as well as prepared meals. Regularly check if your Ready Meals Display requires restocking. You can store ice cream, frozen foods, frozen shrimp, gyoza dumplings, etc. Note down the phone number to call certified appliance repairs – 148-411.
Use the restroom to pass some time until the next customer arrives. The restroom is on the left side of the checkout area.
Meeting Satoshi After a Long Time – Playing Gachapon
Satoshi, Makoto’s friend, visits her store. It’s been a long time since they last saw each other. He has started his own unique business and is very excited about it. When Satoshi puts the items in the bag, walk up to him and interact with him. Maybe he needs some help.
1. He is looking for something called “pyanse”. Choose “Could it be an outdated product name?” from the dialogue options.

2. Use the telephone to call Hina and ask her what “pyanse” means. It’s a Korean steamed pie, but it is out of stock. You can also ask her about the mystery man. Choose the right dialogue options to know more about him.

3. Interact with Satoshi and tell him about Pyanse. Makoto tells him it sells out quickly and is all gone by breakfast. Continue talking to him. He will also give some valuable business ideas and talk about “complementary goods”.
4. Head to the checkout area and scan all the products. The total comes to 620, and the customer pays with 1000. He wants his change using 25-value coins, so give as much of the change as possible in 25 coins, then use 50 and 5 denominations for the remaining amount.

5. Ask him why he started his business and whether he is saving up for something. Satoshi admits that he loves Gachapon and wants to save as much money as possible to spend on capsule toy machines. He explains that he hopes to become the first “Yojiko Masters” collector before school starts. These are superhero action figures based on a popular cartoon series, and he wants to collect every Yojiko Masters figure before anyone else can.
Continue progressing through the dialogue until Satoshi introduces Makoto to the capsule toy machine located outside the store. Choose “I’ve never played” from the dialogue options. Then, select “Go outside with Satoshi right away”.

Play the capsule toy machine mini-game to get “Master Assam (Common)”.

Day 3: Finding the Drawers Key and Ordering Products from Kiyoshi’s
1. Choose “Look at the skies” from the list of actions. Makoto admires the star-studded night sky. Then choose “Check the toy capsule machine”. It’s empty. Makoto has to fill this up with capsule toys first. A box of toy capsules is in the storage room.
2. She is carrying a few Zen Leaf Lemon Tea boxes in her bag. Put them on the special offers display.

3. Read the Employee Notepad on the Step Stool. It’s Misaki’s notepad. After reading, put away the step stool.

4. The Capsule Toy refill box is under the work desk in the storage room. Pick it up and refill the machine outside the store.

– On your way to refill the toy capsule machine, speak with Chief, who is in the store’s Seating Area. Choose “I am not done yet” from the dialogue options. Makoto will tell Chief that she still has a few things to take care of and will come back to him once she is finished.
– After refilling the toy capsule machine, interact with it. Makoto can’t play as she doesn’t have any money. But there should be some in her Jacket’s pocket.

– Check Makoto’s Clothes in the changing room area in the storage room. Interact with her jacket.

Choose “check pockets” from the list of actions. Makoto will find some coins inside. Go outside the store and use the capsule toy machine to get another collectible.

I received Mr. Chawan, though the rewards may be random. If the collectibles differ for you, feel free to share your Yojiko Masters collection in the comments.
5. Read the sticky note on the storage shelf. It says that you need to order more milk and other supplies from Kiyoshi’s.

– Check the Information Stand in the storage room and read every sticky note posted on it. These notes list all the tasks for your current shift, so complete them one at a time. Let’s complete the first task – Call Delivery. Read the note from Misaki. It says that if you find products that don’t have replacements on the shelves, please call “Kiyoshi’s” and order more of them. Open your notepad to check for any task updates. You will see two entries added for the call delivery task.

– Check the following shelves in the store to find products that don’t have replacements:
- Soft Drink Refrigerator: There aren’t many ready-to-drink coffee cans in the store.
- Cooking Essentials Shelf: Need to order more rice.
– Interact with the telephone. Choose “Kiyoshi’s Delivery” from the speed dial list or dial 777-994. Choose “Add something to the order” and then choose these products for delivery – Milk ( Dairy Delight), Gonseung Coffee Black, and one box of Uruchimai Rice.

6. Go back to the Information Stand in the storage room and read the second note from Misaki. Our next task is to refill the Ink Pad. Misaki knows there’s a spare ink, but it is locked in the drawer. The key to open the drawer is missing. Find the key.
– Interact with the Work Desk in the Storage room. Read the sticky note titled “I Found the Keys” on the desk. It says that the keys to the locked drawers are placed by that plant (?).

– Go to the changing area in the storage room. This is where you found the jacket. Interact with the “Small Shelf” in the changing room.

It has three dolls and a cute little succulent. “Fix” the dolls. You will find a keyring behind the succulent. Take the keyring. You have found the keys to the locked drawers.

– The drawers are under the Work Desk. With the keys, unlock the third drawer and take the spare ink pack. Makoto will refill the ink pad using the spare ink.

7. Go back to the Information Stand and read the third note titled “Products on Sale”. The note says to prepare the Special Offers Display tonight. Remove the leftover products from the special offers display and stock “Zen Leaf Lemon Tea and Koro-Pori Corn Snack”.

– Go to the Special Offers Display and take the unwanted products. Take the Uruchimai Rice from the first row and the Zen Leaf Matcha from the third row.

– You will find more Koro-Pori Corn Snack in the second row of the Sweets and Snacks Display. Take all of them. More boxes of Zen Leaf Lemon Tea can be found in the Tea & Coffee Display. Take them and put both products in the Special Offers Display.
In Conversation with the Chief
8. Now that you have completed all tasks, talk to the Chief. Choose ” I am done with everything” from the options. Chief does some shopping in your store and asks for your help.

– Choose Ramen Express or Ramen Express Luke from the dialogue options when the Chief asks for a substitute for his favorite noodles. Check out the single product and give him change. Chief decides to eat the noodles in the store and sits at the table in the guest area.
9. From the storage shelf, take the Dairy Delight Milk, Calba Water, Tokyo Pop Soda, Kanji Toast Bread, and French Croissant. Put the Calba Water and Tokyo Soda Pop in the Soft Drink Refrigerator. Move some of the soft drinks forward. Put the Kanji Toast Bread and French Croissant in the Baked Goods Display.
– Put the last pack of Dairy Delight Milk in Dairy Products. Put the remaining products in the Storage Shelves and the Industrial Refrigerator.

10. To speak with the Chief, you’ll need to trigger new topics through certain interactions. Without discussing them, the game won’t progress. Here’s how:
– Inspect the Ready Meals Display. This will trigger a new topic about Tofu, which will be added as a note to your notebook.
– Take the Voyager Chocolate Cones from the storage room shelves and place them in the Sweets and Snacks Display. Doing this will trigger a new topic about Voyagers.
– Take the Benishin Selena Tights from the storage shelves and place them in the Household Goods Display. This triggers a third dialogue from Chief.
– Talk to Chief. Ask him what he is thinking about. After he eats noodles, talk to him about Tofu and Voyagers.

– Next, ask Chief about his life, his business, his outfit, and whether he managed to find his sign. When Makoto asks about the sign, she also checks on his pet cat, Mimi. Chief replies that he plans to get something for Mimi once they finish talking.

You can then talk about something else or choose “So, shall we go get a treat for Mimi?”

– If you choose to talk about something else, choose “Chief’s relations with other people” from the dialogue options. Next, choose “Discuss Customers”. Makoto asks about the mystery man and Satoshi. While talking about the strange man, Chief says he crafted a special item for himself. It’s meant to bring luck and protection for the business. He then says he will make one for Makoto and try to bring it with him the next time he visits the store.
Finally, you can ask him about his relationship with Makoto’s aunt.
After finishing all dialogue options, choose Discuss something else > About Chief’s Life > A treat for Mimi.
Chief takes the last pack of Dairy Delight Milk carton and checks out.
11. In the storage room, inspect the Delivery Box on the floor. You need to place six packs of rice inside it.

Start by taking the two packs of Uruchimai Rice from the cooking essentials shelf and putting them into the box. You will still need three more packs, but additional rice and other products will be delivered shortly, so wait for the next shipment to arrive.
Dispose of Chief’s Rame from the Seating Area. I forgot to clean it up because I was a little anxious about the next customer arriving.
News Reporter who Loves Coffee and Snacks

1. As soon as the new customer arrives, take some products from the Industrial refrigerator and put them on the store shelves.
– Take the Tohoku Sandwich and Classic Egg Sandwich from the industrial refrigerator. Put them in the Ready Meals display. You must put these two products before the customer arrives, as she may need them.

2. The news reporter needs help. Talk to her. She is in need of 6-7 cans of ready-to-drink coffee. You won’t have that many coffees, so you may convince her to buy Konbini coffee or other coffee products. She will insist only on ready-to-drink coffee that is sold in cans. You can also tell her that you have “Already Ordered More.” Customer says she will come back tomorrow to buy more coffee.

– Next, choose “I will go check the store.” You can try bringing her a different drink, although I personally couldn’t find any other beverage she seemed to like. I offered her Hanabishi Cocoa Beverage from the soft drink refrigerator, but she declined buying it as she is lactose intolerant. Were you able to find one? Let me know in the comments. (I think she may like Midnight Cocoa Can. What do you think?)
– Take the Gonseung Black Coffee from the Tea and Coffee Display and offer the product to her. She introduces herself as a news reporter. You will need to keep a few extra cans in stock just for her. This will be noted down in your notebook.

3. While shopping, the news reporter will need your help. She wants something ready-to-eat, preferably filling. The product should be unusual and not available anywhere in the city.
– Take the Gyoza Dumplings (Pork) from the Industrial Freezer and offer them to her.

– The news reporter hesitates at first, as it is frozen food and needs to be cooked. But Makoto convinces her and tells her that it takes only six minutes to cook. She happily accepts this product.
4. At the checkout area, scan all items, take the money, and give her change. While talking, the news reporter asks if Makoto has come up with any new ideas on what she should write about. Choose “I have got a perfect plan” from the list of dialogue options. Next, choose either “It should be your story” or ” A story of one of the customers”. If you choose the second option, suggest interviewing Satoshi.
The customer’s taxi has already left, so you will need to call another one. Head to the storage room and interact with the telephone. From the speed dial list, select “Benten Taxi Service” and order a taxi. Talk to the customer and tell her you have called a new tax. Ask her a few more questions from the list of dialogues to progress.

The news reporter heads to the restroom. As soon as you spot the taxi outside the store, interact with the restroom door and let her know that it has arrived. Before leaving, she gives Makoto her business card and asks her to pass it on to Satoshi so he can contact her for an interview.
Restocking New Products Delivered by Kiyoshi’s
As soon as the news reporter leaves your store, Kiyoshi’s delivers all the products that were ordered over the telephone. Head to the storage room and take the delivery.

Restock the shelves with the new products. Open all the boxes and place each item in its proper section.

- Wano Onigiri (Fish, Shrimp, and Spicy) – Ready Meals Display. Put the remaining in the industrial fridge/freezer. You may also remove a few low-stock items from the Ready Meals section and replace them with the Wano Onigiri instead.
- Uruchimai Rice: Put them in the delivery box near the storage shelf and the remaining in the Cooking Essentials Shelf.
- Dairy Delight Milk: Put all the cartons from the delivery box in the Dairy Products fridge.
- Gonseung Coffee Black: Put them in the Tea and Coffee Display and the remaining in the storage shelves.
- Konbini and Tempura Bento: Goes to the Ready Meals display. Put the remaining in the industrial freezer/refrigerator.
- Yumiko Bottled Milk: Stock it up in the industrial refrigerator.
Satoshi Returns to Your Store
Satoshi needs Yoko Rich Cream and has searched the shelves, but couldn’t find it. The product is in the Soft Drink Refrigerator and isn’t facing forward, which is why he couldn’t find it. Take the product and offer it to him. Next, take all the Yoko Rich Creams from the soft drink refrigerator and put them in the Dairy refrigerator.

You may also want to move the Wano Onigiri from the Ice Cream Display to the Ready Meals Display if you haven’t already done so. If the item is still misplaced, Satoshi or other customers will point it out to you later.
Satoshi wants the Soybean Natto, but it’s up there on the ready meals display shelf. He can’t reach high up the shelves. Take the product from the top shelf and give it to him. He then requests that Makoto put the Natto on the lower shelves, as he will buy more of them.

He wants an inexpensive sweet snack and needs your recommendation. It’s for her elderly client. In the Sweet Hanging Snacks, the products are listed with the cheapest ones at the top. Pick the Piu-Piu Biscuits from the top shelves and offer them to Satoshi.

Check out all the products and don’t forget to give the change in 25 coins.
Satoshi also reveals a little secret about the Capsule toy machine. Choose “Will you tell me…” from the list of dialogues. He then reveals that Makoto needs to have her own ritual if she wants to increase the chances of winning rare figures from the toy capsule machine. Select “Chief Believes in rituals too..”
Satoshi realizes that his business lacks marketing, so he needs to create a poster and needs Makoto’s help. Choose “Fine, I’ll Help”.
Choose any option from the list to create Satoshi’s dream poster for his business. Once he gets an idea, he will leave your store.
As soon as Satoshi leaves, the telephone will ring. Interact with it to speak with Aunt Hina. She has some bad news to share, and it’s related to the store.
Day 4 – A Tough Day at the Store
Makoto reads Charlie’s note on the chalkboard. It seems he faced a lot of troubles during his shift. The lights flickered a couple of times, and the front door would not open. He was also concerned about the leaking ceiling.
- Read Charlie’s sticky notes in the Information Stand:
Note no. 1: “New Manga Arrived”
– A fresh batch of new manga arrived. Charlie couldn’t put them in the shelves because of the leak.
– He ordered delivery but might have forgotten something. Give Kyoshi a quick call.
Note no. 2: “Mess on the Floor”
– Magazines had to be moved so that they wouldn’t be stained because of the leak.
– The repairman came and fixed everything
– Wipe the puddle on the floor by morning, as it is Makoto’s turn to mop the floor.
Check the cleaning schedule. Makoto confirms that it is indeed her turn to clean the store.

2. Move closer to the puddle near the Manga stand and clean the floor.

Mop the area whenever a puddle appears near the Manga Stand.
– Take all the manga from the storage room shelves.
You can also find a few manga volumes inside the box placed on the floor near the freezer in the store.

– Place the comics on the Manga Stand. Make sure to arrange them properly, with the large-sized manga on the top shelf, the medium-sized ones in the middle, and the smaller volumes on the lower shelves.

3. Use the telephone to call Kiyoshi’s Delivery and order the following products: Midnight Cacao Bag, Kurea Biscuit Sand, and Akiboshi Ale. Use the “Add something to the order” command to add new products to the order.
4. Check the “Promotion Stuff” from the work desk. Read the attached note and take the promo materials from the desk.

– Using the promotional materials, place the poster on the main door and set the mascot on top of the soft drink refrigerator.

– Take all Autumn No. 5 and put them in the soft drink refrigerator. Before placing, make sure you empty one of the shelves.

Naomi Wants an Insecticide for the Growing Mosquito Menace
5. Naomi, the news reporter, enters the store through the storage room door because the main entrance door is malfunctioning.
– While she shops, take the Zen Leaf Matcha and Canine Bites Can XL from the storage shelves, put them in the Tea/Coffee display and Pet Food Display, respectively. Take the Amurskoje More Squid cans from the Pet Food Display and put them in the Canned.
– Approach Naomi when she asks for help. She is searching for the Kinbo Puff Insecticide. Head to the storage room and pick up the insecticide placed on top of the staff lockers. You can find the lockers to the right of the work desk.

Offer Kinbo Puff to Naomi. Later, you can “Ask about ways to attract luck.”
– Call Kiyoshi’s Delivery again and order Kinbo Puff insecticide.
– Talk to Naomi again. She tells you about an article that shouldn’t have been published in Iwata Shimbun. Read the newspaper placed next to the checkout area.
6. In the storage room, inspect the empty delivery box placed on the floor near the shelves.

– Read the sticky note on the box. As per the note, put the following Kikko-nyan products in the delivery box:
- Soy Sauce x4 – Get it from the Cooking Essentials Shelf
- Soy Sauce (Garlic) x4 – Cooking Essentials Shelf
- Tofu x10 – Ready Meals Display (Lower shelf) and Beverage Refrigerator (Lower shelf)
- Salty Edamame x4 – Salty Hanging Snacks
Put all of the above products in the empty box.
7. While checking out the products, talk to Naomi and ask her about her interview with Satoshi. After the conversation, she will leave through the storage room door. Follow her to the storage room, where Makoto will open the door to help her exit the store.
8. From the storage shelves, take the following products and place them in their respective shelves around the store:
- Caesar’s Dried Anchovies Extra: Salty Hanging Snacks
- Stampede Chips (Seaweed and Salt, Consomme and Paprika): Sweets and Snacks Display. Make sure all three variants are placed on the shelves. If even one is missing, the mystery man will ask for that specific flavor when he arrives at the store.
- Red Lantern Adzuki, Verdant Crown Asparagus, Sunveil Hearthland Corn, Mikan Mandarin Orange, Pun-Pun Pudding, and Grand Fruit Medley: Canned Goods Shelf
9. While stocking up, Kiyoshi’s Delivery will knock at the storage door. Enter the storage room. Makoto collects her order.
– Open all the delivery boxes and put the following products in their respective shelves around the store:
- Akiboshi Ale, Hoshikawa Lager, and Island Country Beer: Beverage Refrigerator
- Midnight Cacao Bag: Tea and Coffee Display. If there isn’t enough space, rearrange the Yojoki Ice Tea by stacking the cans on top of each other. Picking them up and placing them back again will automatically stack the cans neatly. Also, arrange Gonseung Coffee to make some space for this product.
- Kurea Biscuit Sand: Sweets and Snacks Display
- Hanabishi Cocoa Beverage: Beverage Refrigerator
- Kinbo Puff Insecticide: Household Goods Display
The Mystery Man’s Second Visit
10. The mystery man visits Makoto’s store for the second time. Will he finally speak this time? Let’s find out.
– This time, the front door mysteriously opens when he visits the store.
– Approach him when he needs help with something. It seems he needs a beverage. Ask him whether it is sparkling and/or Alcoholic. He nods approvingly when you choose alcoholic from the dialogue options.

– All of a sudden, a power outage plunges the store into darkness. The customer pulls out a portable flashlight and gives it to Makoto.

– Take the Hoshikawa Lager from the Beverage Refrigerator and offer it to the customer.

– As soon as the lights come back on, the mystery man mistakenly enters the storage room. Follow him to the storage room. Makoto tells him this area is off limits.
– Check out and give him the change. Ask him one of the following questions from the dialogue options:

Another power outage occurs before he answers, and he mysteriously disappears from the store.
As soon as power returns, move closer to the beverage refrigerator in the store.

Makoto notices that it is no longer functioning properly. Use the telephone to call Appliance Repairs from the speed dial list.
Satoshi’s New Poster
Satoshi knocks on the back entrance door. Open it and let him enter. He loves the storage room and finds it very cozy. He then shows his new promo poster for his delivery service. Ask him, “Has your poster been a success?” He says “not yet” and requests that you move his poster to a different spot in the store, preferably a place where anyone could see it.
– Pick his poster from the back entrance door and place it anywhere near the store’s main entrance door. I placed it near the checkout area, next to the Honki Ponki newspaper stand.

– While shopping, Satoshi also notices that the beverage refrigerator is not working.
– When he needs your help, approach him and talk to him. He says his client needs something sweet from the canned goods shelf. Should be soft and easy to chew. Take the Pun-Pun Pudding, and offer it to Satoshi.

– Ask him about the broken fridge. He suggests a temporary fix and explains that simply knocking on the refrigerator should get it working again. Interact with the fridge and choose “kick the fridge”. It starts working miraculously.

– Scan all products at the checkout area. Give him change in 25 coins. Ask him these questions before he leaves:

Day 5: The Legendary Everlasting Prince and Satoshi’s Shopping List
1. Take the Pun-Pun Pudding and Verdant Crown Asparagus from the checkout desk. Put them on the Canned Goods Shelf.
2. Interact with the empty open Delivery Box on the floor in the storage room. Mr. Takahashi has a new order: All Daico products:

– Cups x5, Plates x10 and Napkins x15. Put them in the delivery box.
– Take all Daico Paper Napkins from the Canned Goods Shelf.

– Some Paper Plates are in the Household Goods Display, so pick those up first.

You will also find a few Paper Plates placed on top of the Ice Cream Display.

Check the basket on the floor next to the Ice Cream Display, as it contains more Paper Plates.

– Pick up the Paper Cups from the top shelf of the Soft Drink Refrigerator. They’re easy to miss because the cups are turned away instead of facing outward.

Put all cups, napkins, and plates in the delivery box.

Pick the Genki Oat Cereal from the floor and put it back in the Noodles Display.
3. Read the sticky note on the Household Goods Display. You have got to do a bit of rearranging:

– Empty the top shelf of the household goods display.
– Take the Laguna Washing Powder, Freshway Floor Cleaner, Ichi Mold Killer, and Shinolux Cleaning Powder from the bottom shelf of the Household Goods Display and place them on the now-empty top shelf.
– Move all the items that were originally on the top shelf down to the bottom shelves.
4. Read the sticky note on the storage shelf. According to the note, you’ll need to place all Kikko-Nyan products on the appropriate store shelves. Here’s a list of the Kikko-Nyan items and where they should be placed:
- Salty Edamame: Free up some space from the Salty Hanging Snacks. Take the Heisei and Seisei sweet snacks, and then place the Salty Edamame in the salty hanging snacks display. 5. Take the Kinbo Puff Insecticides from the storage shelf and put them in the Household Goods Display.
6. From the same shelf, take the Uruchimai Rice and Genmai Rice and place them either in the (Recall conversation with Satoshi on complementary products).
6. Pick up all the items listed below from the second storage shelf and arrange them in the appropriate shelves throughout the store:

Naomi’s Article
7. Open the front entrance to welcome Naomi. Speak to her. She will request Makoto to read her article in the Iwata Shimbun.
– Speak to her again when she needs your help. Naomi is looking for Lunarient Face Cream. It’s not in the store, so use the telephone to call Kiyoshi’s delivery and order this product. Along with the Face Cream, order the following items:
Midnight cacao bag, Kurea Biscuit sand, Akiboshi ale, Kurikuri grape bar.
– Naomi will also need a secret ingredient that needs to be added to a recipe named Village Dengaku. It’s either Mushrooms or Canned Sour Fruit. Offer her “Champion’s Mushroom” from the Canned Goods Display.
8. The delivery guy will knock on the storage room door. Take the ordered products.
– Open each delivery box and take the Lunarient Face Cream from the delivery box, and speak to Naomi at the checkout area. Makoto will offer the face cream to her.
– Put the remaining Lunarient Face Cream packs in the Household Goods Display.
– Check out and scan all the products. Give change to Naomi. Continue talking to her. Once she leaves, read the Iwata Shinbum from the newspaper rack near the checkout area.
The Mystery Man Speaketh
9. The Mystery Man arrives at the store for the third time. Welcome him. He keeps sneezing nonstop for some reason.
10. Open the remaining delivery boxes and place all the items on the appropriate shelves throughout the store:
- Autumn No. 5: Soft Drink Refrigerator
- Akiboshi Ale: Beverage Refrigerator
- Kurikuri Grape Bar: Ice Cream Display. Take the Gyoza Dumplings from the ice cream display to make some space for this product. Put the Gyoza dumplings in the Industrial and store freezer.
- Kurea Biscuit Sand: Sweets and Snacks Display.
- Midnight Cacao Bag: Tea and Coffee Display
11. While checking out his items, the mystery man sneezes once again. For the first time, he finally speaks and asks about the strange smell in the store. “Is that pepper?” he wonders, then asks to remove it.
It seems the Chief’s talisman, placed on the checkout counter, is what’s causing all the sneezing.
After moving the talisman elsewhere, Makoto expresses her surprise. Select “Nice to hear your voice” from the available dialogue choices. The mystery man finally reveals himself as the legendary singer Jun Kogawa. Continue the conversation until Makoto notices that she has run out of bags. Open the cupboard behind her and pick the “Spare Bags”.
Satoshi enters the store and can’t believe his eyes! It’s his and his grandmom’s favorite artist! When he expresses his surprise, choose any one of the dialogue options.
Satoshi can’t believe that the Everlasting Prince has come to visit the Konbini. While Satoshi talks to Jun, scan the products as you check out. Give change to Jun and speak to Satoshi.
He still can’t believe his eyes that a celebrity keeps visiting the Konbini. Makoto asks if he needs any help with the orders, but Satoshi says he will manage.
As soon as he starts shopping, go to the storage room and read “Employee’s Notepad” in the changing room. Misaki has left a note about “Special Offers”. You will have to place the following products on the Special Offers Display:
- Energy Drink: Vigorman X from the Beverage Refrigerator
- The Most Expensive Dog Food: Pick the Noble Dogs (with Omega 3) from the Pet food display. It costs more than other dog food.
- Amurskoje More Squid: Canned Goods Shelf
- Tori Bites Yakitori: Canned Goods Shelf
Note: You need to place every pack of each product in the Special Offers Display. If even one pack is left behind, Makoto’s notebook will not update the task.
Satoshi’s List
After placing the above products, go and talk to Satoshi. He is starstruck and keeps murmuring about Jun.
To stop him from daydreaming, Makoto needs to convince him so that he collects all products on time. Choose any one dialogue from the options.
Satoshi gives you a list of items that need to be bought from the Konbini. Put the following items from his list in the box and bring them to him:
– Open the Notepad to learn more about the products on his shopping list. Then, collect them from the shelves listed below:
- Soy Sauce: Cooking Essentials Shelf
- Yellow Miso Paste: Cooking Essentials Shelf
- Rice: Cooking Essentials Shelf/Canned Goods Display
- Piu Piu Biscuits: Sweet Hanging Snacks
- Magazine About Needlework: Pick the Teyou Masuta (Sept. ‘93 Edition) from the Magazine Rack. If you can’t find it, then check the storage room shelves.
Optional Products
Open the notepad again and check the optional products:
- Illegible handwriting
- Dak-KKochi in a Can
Talk to Satoshi to know more about the above products. Choose these dialogues:
1. I can’t figure out this one item from your list
– Satoshi deciphers the writing. It’s Shinolux Cleaning Powder. Pick the product from the Household Goods Display
2. “What is Dak-kkochi?”
– Even Satoshi has no idea what it is, so he asks Makoto to check with her aunt about it. Interact with the telephone to call Hina. She says it’s Tori Bites (Yakitori). You will find this product in the Canned Goods Shelf.
Now that you’ve collected all the products from Satoshi’s list, including the optional items, go ahead and offer them to him.
In the checkout area, scan all the products and give him change. Continue the conversation by choosing the dialogue options below:
Follow him outside the store. Satoshi tries his luck again with the Capsule Toy Machine. He gets a few rare ones. Lucky day!
You can also play with the Capsule Toy Machine. If you don’t have coins, check Makoto’s jacket in the changing room area (storage room ) to get some coins.
I got the rare Golden Darjeeling (Limited Edition) from the capsule toy machine. WBU?
While waiting for the next customer, check the store freezer. Take the Kurikuri Vanilla Cones as they don’t belong here and put them in the Sweet Hanging Snacks section. Also, take the Sento Premium Ice Cream and put it in the Ice Cream Display.
Go to the storage room and take some of the Gyoza Dumplings, Frozen Honkichiki, and Frozen Yakisoba. Put these three products in the store freezer.
Firefighter Chief
Chief visits your store once again. Meet him. Makoto greets him. Choose “Your Talisman Worked” from the dialogue options. Continue the conversation with him to move the story forward.
– Interact with Chief again if he needs help. He needs a budget-friendly frozen food for less than 300.
– Interact with the store freezer and choose Gyoza Dumplings (Pork). It costs 280. Offer it to the Chief.
Check out the product and give him change. You can then ask him about the “luck rituals” or about Mimi. Makoto wants to know how to increase her chances of winning rare capsule toys. He says to call all friends. That may help increase her chances of winning rare capsule toys.
Next, choose “Learn more about Hina” and later select “She Will Return Soon” from the dialogue options. During the conversation, Chief begins craving the famous Honkichiki.
Pick the Honkichiki from the storage room’s freezer. Interact with the Chief and offer the product from the box.
Take the cooking oil near the register. It’s in a cupboard under the fryer, behind Makoto, in the checkout area.
Chief teaches Makoto how to cook the Honkichiki.
As they eat, choose any one of the following dialogues:
– But you are still looking for a sign
– Then let’s hope today will be perfect.
All of a sudden, the fryer in the checkout area catches fire. Chief quickly rushes over to put out the flames.
Ask “What should we do?” or “Use the fire extinguisher.”
The fire extinguisher is right near the entrance. Pick it up. Chief tries to put out the flames and, on the second attempt, succeeds.
