Home Sweet Home
As soon as Adeline welcomes you to the new home, you will be introduced to the basics, including farming and managing your hearth. You will also get a vegetable soup from her as a gift. Eat it only when your stamina levels are gone low.
Here are some tips on what you can do in your new home in Fields of Mistria.

Your stamina bar is green in color. You can see it in the upper right corner of the screen. Every time, your character performs an activity, such as tilling the land or fighting enemies, their stamina decreases.
You can rest in your new bed in your new home, but sleep by 2 am in-game time to keep your stamina up. Time is displayed on the top-right corner of the screen, along with the season, date, and the total amount of Tesserae, the in-game currency, you have collected so far.
Move closer to the calendar on the wall and press “E”. With the help of the calendar, you can check when the town holds its festivals. You can also find the birthdays of all NPCs you have met so far so that you can gift them, which will increase your relationship value with them.
Move near the diary kept beside your bed and press “E”. You can save your progress in your diary. Make sure you save progress at regular intervals, especially when you have completed a quest, earned a lot of coins, or have progressed quite a lot in your adventure.
The storage chest is where you can store any extra items if there’s no space left in your bag. Move closer to the chest and press E to open it. Items are displayed in your inventory on the right side, whereas the grid on the left side is the chest storage. To store items, drag and drop an item from your inventory to the right into the storage to the left. Press “G” to store all items in your chest without opening it.
Light up the fireplace. Move a bit closer to the fireplace and press E. Press E again to extinguish the fire.
Basic Farming Guide
Once you exit your home, you will be greeted by Celine outside. She lives in the cottage north of your cozy cottage. She will be super excited to meet you and will bring you a little “fieldwarming” present. It’s a hoe that can be used to till the fields. This will be your first tool to begin farming. But wait! There’s more. She will also gift 3 bags of tulip seeds.
You will need a shovel to expand your field’s size. They are available at Celine’s family general store. You will find a good selection of seeds in the same general store.
While talking to Celine, Hayden will gallop straight into you. He runs the sweetwater farm to the west of your home. He owns a lot of animals. He will give you a watering can. You need to water your crops every day if you want them to grow big and strong. You will also receive three bags of turnip seeds.
Finally, Celine will help you find the town if you want to meet Adeline. All you have to do is head north of here and the road will take you right into the city.
To start farming, follow these basic steps:
Clear the field areas first. To remove obstacles, such as grass and shrubs on the field, move your character close to them and click. You can’t eliminate logs and stones with the basic worn sword. It’s used to cut only grass and fight. Once the field is cleared, select hoe from your inventory at the bottom of the screen and click on the cleared field area to till the soil.

Select seeds from the same inventory and plant them on the tilled soil tiles. The tilled soil will look darker than the other tiles on the field.

Water your crops every day until they are fully grown. Once fully grown, move closer to the crops and press E or click to harvest them.

With the harvested crops, especially veggies and fruits, you can sell them for coins, cook and eat to increase stamina/health, and even feed them to your animals.

Press “M” to open the map. Press ESC to open the inventory menu. Click on each tab on the vertical menu on the right.
