How to Scare Edgar in Just Crow Things
We had a game dedicated to cats and now a game on crows! Let me tell you – Just Crow Things, the newest cozy game on Steam, is as much fun as Little Kitty Big City There are tons of missions, new animal friends to make, and cool hats to collect.
Played from a top-down perspective, Just Crow Things gives you a bird’s eye view of several worlds, be it a bustling city, a spooky old town, or the deserts of Egypt. You will be meeting new NPCs (Non-player characters) to find tasks, accept and complete them to earn “Crowputation” – points earned on successfully finishing a mission. Earn 100 crowputation to unlock a new world, where a new adventure and tons of missions await!
To unlock the Edgar Allen Crow world, you must earn 100 crowputation in each of these worlds: Quaint Town, Ancient Egypt, and Camp. Once you earn 100 crowputation in Camp, you can start playing the Edgar Allen world.
Scaring Edgar is the very first mission in Edgar Allen Crow. You will be spooking out the cartoon version of Edgar Allen Poe, the famous American short story writer and poet. This is how the mission starts:
You meet a spooky delivery guy who hates going to a haunted mansion. he has a package for Mr. Edgar in that mansion, but he can’t go there because he is scared of… GHOSTS! yes, you read that right!
The spooky delivery guy needs your help – Scare Edgar out of the house so that the ghost can deliver the package to him.
Edgar has a large mansion, so you will have to go in and scare him in his bedroom, dining room, dark hallway, library, and kitchen.
Press the Tab key to open the map. This will help you know Edgar’s location inside the mansion. The NPC’s location will have Edgar Allen Poe’s icon on the map. Here’s how you can smartly scare the living daylights of Edgar:
1. Bedroom: Fly straight into the dressing mirror to break it. He will run to the kitchen.
2. Dining Room: Press E to Pick food from the dining table and drop it near Edgar. A cute mouse will scuttle towards the food, spooking him out.
3. Dark Hallway: There’s a big spider on the ceiling. Fly towards the spider and hit him. It will move along its silken thread, scaring Edgar.
4. Library: Fly above the candelabra near Edgar and press C to poop on it to extinguish the candles.
5. Kitchen: Pick a utensil or any object and drop it near Edgar.
6. Find a Spooky Costume: Edgar runs and stops near the stairs. Move to the room on the right of the dining room. You will find a white ghost costume.
Fly into it to wear the costume and descend near Edgar to scare him out of the house.
