Webfishing: All Spectral Bones Locations

With a nice selection of lures, upgrades, and baits available in Webfishing, players have numerous options for enhancing their fishing game. However, the real prize everyone seeks is the rare Spectral Rod. Although purely cosmetic, it does give a sense of pride to those who possess it so that they can show off their sparkly new fishing rod to other players.

To obtain this special item, you’ll need to find five spectral bones hidden around the map’s various nooks and crannies. Each bone is tucked away in a unique location, so be prepared for a bit of exploration! With the help of this walkthrough, along with screenshots, it won’t be very hard for you to find ’em all:

All Bones and Their Secret Locations

From your spawn point, move near the Pawprint Quest Board. With the quest board behind you, walk forward and follow the brown trail.

Take the trail as a guide. Turn right and continue following the trail until you see the”Sell and Bait” banner.

When you are near the banner, turn right.

And will see a ladder near the small pond.

There will also be a lot of red mushrooms surrounding the pond. Climb the ladder to get to the upper part of the map.

Tip: Press ESC and click Return to Spawn if you are not near your spawn point.

After climbing to the upper part of the map, you will see a blue mushroom across another small pond. Use the bridge to reach the blue mushroom.

Jump off the blue mushroom to get to the map’s highest point behind the lighthouse. it’s not exactly behind the lighthouse, but you will find a fence, which acts as a landmark.

The farthest bush will be very close to the fence at the cliff’s edge. The first bone is behind that bush.

Follow the same steps as shown in #1. Once you are near the same bush, walk along the edge of the cliff. Look down from the cliff to find stepping stones on the ocean.

The second spectral bone is placed on the fourth stone. Position yourself just above the fourth stone and fall off the cliff to land on it.

Pick the bone.

Press ESC and choose Return to Spawn to go back to the hub.

The location of the third bone is a bit tricky to find. There’s a bridge behind the Pawprint Quest Board. Cross the bridge and walk a bit.

You will find a green ramp on your left side. It’s a bit far away but you can see it from a distance. Make sure you walk a few steps forward to spot the ramp.

Walk up the ramp and you will see another bridge on the left side.

Move close to the bridge but don’t cross it.

Instead, look to your right to see stepping stones on the stream.

Walk near the stepping stones until you find a bush and tree in the corner.

The third bone is behind the bush.

From your spawn point, move near the aquarium. With the aquarium house behind you, take the left path.

Keep walking until you find a brown trail, near the bench. Turn left and follow the trail to reach the bridge.

Cross the bridge and continue following the trail until you find a blue mushroom.

Jump off the blue mushroom and you will land on a ledge located on the left side of the mysterious hut (Dock Shop).

The fourth bone can be found in the corner of the cliff and to its right is the hut.

The fifth spectral bone is on the other side of the Dock Shop/Mysterious Hut. Follow the same steps as shown in #4.

From the same cliff where you found the fourth bone, look across the pier to find another cliff.

To reach there, the first thing you should do is step down from this cliff and take the brown trail on your right.

Follow the walkway to reach the Sell and Bait banner. Jump off the blue mushroom near the banner and you will reach the other side of the Dock Shop.

It’s the topmost portion of the map and there’s a fence on it. Follow the fence to reach the end of the cliff.

Fall off the cliff on a ledge. The fifth bone is on the corner of the ledge.

How to get the Spectral Rod

Now that you have collected all 5 spectral bones, it’s time to acquire the rod in Webfishing. There’s a secret location behind the waterfall. Here’s how to reach the waterfall:

Get to the bridge behind the quest board, near your spawn point. If you rotate the camera a bit, you can also catch a glimpse of the waterfall in the background, as shown in the screenshot below.
